CRÉAK was founded in 2006 by a network of doctors who are experts in angioedema. It is dedicated to all patients with angioedema, whatever its cause.

Our team offers patients and doctors: diagnostic consultations, therapeutic care, personalized care thanks to a therapeutic education program.

The national CRÉAK network offers local support to each patient.

CRÉAK is responsible for several missions, including:

The national reference center (CRÉAK) is responsible for several missions, including: Scientific expertise, Medical research, Multidisciplinary care and awareness and information for patients and health professionals.

Organization of CREAK

CRÉAK is a network of expert centers in France that treat all angioedema, whatever the cause.

This network is managed by a coordinating reference center: the Grenoble Alpes University Hospital, with Professor Laurence Bouillet as national medical coordinator.

Each center in this network is made up of a team of experts with a medical manager in charge.

This organization is designated by ministerial decree for a labeling period of 5 years.

The CRÉAK is made up of several so-called constituent reference centres and also partner centres, in metropolitan France and the French overseas territories. These reference centres were able to be designated as long as they met one of the following conditions:

• Provide pediatric or adult care that complements that of the coordinating site and thus structure the pediatric/adult link.
• Provide the same expertise, recourse, research or training activities as the coordinating site.
