The Dermato-allergology sector of the Montpellier University Hospital is a center of expertise for the management of bradykinin angioedema, in interaction with the main reference center of Grenoble, and the other reference and competence centers of the territory. The management concerns all patients with bradykinin angioedema who are referred to it, adults and children from the stage of diagnosis to treatment with the possibility of participating in therapeutic trials.

A WORD FROM THE MONTPELLIER TEAM
The competence center for bradykinin angioedema at the Montpellier University Hospital is located in the Dermato-allergology sector with specific skills for the differential diagnosis of angioedema of allergic or pseudo-allergic origin because we are 2 dermato-allergologists on site. We welcome adults and children thanks to our connection with our referring pediatrician Dr. Carbasse and Professor Fuchs in Obstetrics at the University Hospital for the follow-up of patients with a pregnant HAE. We have also set up a circuit for the management of "traumatic" dental care with the Center for Dental Care, Teaching and Research of Montpellier and the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery of the University Hospital. We have a local display for the healthcare teams in the GHT territory thanks to recurring communication with the Emergency services and the Nephrology, Internal Medicine and Cardiology departments, which are strong prescribers of IEC, and the provision of courses to Hospital Pharmacy interns. We actively participate in the national CREAK projects, in particular the PNDS and their updates, in academic and industrial studies and have also initiated some. We participate in the CREAK Scientific Council. We are also labeled as a Reference and Excellence Center for the management of angioedema and urticaria (ACARE and UCARE of the international GA2LEN network).
