The CREAK competence center at the Rouen University Hospital, coordinated by Dr. Nicolas OZANNE in internal medicine, and by Dr. GRALL LEROSEY for the pediatric part, welcomes in consultation patients referred by their treating physician or in post-emergency for suspected bradykinin angioedema. Patients diagnosed with hereditary bradykinin angioedema are followed up in the long term in the department. The medical and paramedical team trained in the pathology allows the explanation of the diagnosis, the implementation of drug treatments and follow-up in the best conditions.

A WORD FROM THE ROUEN TEAM

The Rouen University Hospital's competence center has been providing care for patients with bradykinin angioedema for over 10 years in the internal medicine department for adults, and for even longer for pediatrics.

The competence centre team is involved in the management of patients with angioedema with self-injection education for patients, and participation in national telephone advice on angioedema.

The team also participates in training activities with various specialists in the region.

(emergency physicians, pediatricians, internists).
